Returning to nature: a place to visit and remember
A tree-side memorial gives remembrance a place to return to. Families deserve time, clear information and a choice that feels right.

After a pet dies, ordinary moments can feel unexpectedly quiet. Keeping the ashes nearby for a time may help some families process their loss. We understand that attachment. When a family feels ready, a memorial beneath a tree offers another way to keep a name and a memory close.
At Ruyi Garden, returning to the earth is a cultural approach to remembrance. We encourage families to consider a dedicated garden memorial rather than keeping ashes at home indefinitely. This is an invitation, never a judgment or a claim that ashes bring illness or bad luck. No decision needs to be rushed.
Grey Ears Ecological Memorial Forest · Ruyi Garden is in Shanding Village, Huizhou, Guangdong. Ordinary tree-burial options include one, two or three memorial spaces per tree. A basic wooden name plaque has no additional charge. The position, term, arrangement and configuration must be confirmed before an agreement is signed.

Ask practical questions first: are the ashes already properly processed, will the family attend, how will names and dates be checked, and how are future visits arranged? For remote arrangements, confirm both the garden’s receiving procedure and the carrier’s conditions before sending anything.
“May you return as a human in the next life” expresses a cultural wish for a safe, warm and peaceful future. It is not a promised outcome. Families may choose a quiet farewell or an expression of their own faith. Neither elaborate ceremonies nor purchased decorations measure the depth of love.
Begin with a visit or a conversation. See the location, understand the records and visiting arrangements, and share your concerns with staff. Our hope is that every decision is informed and every name is carefully checked: remembrance can have a place, while everyday life gradually continues.
